By air: The closest airport is Hamburg. The usual way to get from the airport to Kiel is the airport coach Kielius (one way 22.50 Euro, return ticket 38,50 Euro), which leaves in front of the terminal building. Its final destination is the main train station in Kiel.

How to get to the workshop site (or to the B&B hotel next to the institute): The closest bus stops are Rankestraße (line 91) and Universität (lines 60S, 61, 62, 81). At the main station, the buses leave from platforms B1 (91, direction Friedrichsort), A2 (60S, direction Universität), B2 (61/62, direction Suchsdorf/Projensdorf), C1 (opposite the street, 81, direction Universität).
